CEPIC represents hundreds of Picture Libraries and Agencies, representing hundreds of thousands of photographers, videographers and increasingly synthographers, whose core business is the direct licensing of visual content off-line and online. Acting as right holders, Picture Libraries and Agencies license digital asset for all kinds of commercial uses, to newspapers, magazines, advertising, broadcasters, etc. CEPIC members are continuously adaptive towards innovative technology solutions for the growth in digital enterprises and have developed sophisticated digital platforms to both market digital content online and provide digital access to images. Amongst CEPIC members are global players such as Getty Images, Magnum Photos, and Alamy, fine arts libraries such the Bridgeman Images, historical archives such as Roger-Viollet and AKG Images, news photo syndication such as Le Figaro, news agencies such as Belga, TT or ANP as well as representatives for European trade associations AEAPAF, BAPLA, BLF, SAB, FNAPPI and SNAPIG. CEPIC’s membership also includes several cutting-edge technology developers, some of them involved in manipulating images with AI driven tools, others in creating/ producing AI generated images.

We're at CEPIC 2026 in Valencia - one of the largest gatherings of photo and image licensing professionals in Europe. The main topics on stage are AI, copyright, and what the EU AI Act means for the industry. Meanwhile, our Litteraworks platform is running live at the conference, delivering real-time English → Spanish translation for the panels. It's always a good sign when the product is already at work in the room where these conversations are happening.
As Day 2 of #CEPIC2026 begins to wind down, we’re already looking ahead to tomorrow’s final programme, and it’s a big one… Friday’s schedule features 9 panels + a whopping 7 pitch presentations, covering the future of visual media, AI, trust, licensing, regulation and innovation across our industry. From 14:15 onwards, Friday afternoon will be dedicated to our Public Conference, with conversations around fake news, AI and the future of media.
