Select Topic AreaQuestion Copilot Feature AreaCopilot Enterprise BodyHi, I'm a student who has been granted access to Github Education. In fact, in my account I can see I have "GitHub Pro". Looking at https://github.com/features/copilot it seems to me that I should have access to GitHub Copilot Pro for free too (look at attached photos), but when I look in https://github.com/settings/copilot it says I just have the free version. Thanks in advance :)

Starting from April 20, 2026, GitHub officially suspended new sign-ups for the Copilot Student (Git Edu) and Individual Pro plans.For existing accounts:The package is not deleted, but usage is now strictly rate-limited.High-end AI models (like Claude Opus) have been removed from the standard Student/Pro tier.A new credit-based system has been introduced, significantly reducing the actual amount of free usage available compared to before. :( |
