For basics of Github you can watch Free code camp youtube channel it covers all basics: Git, GitHub, branches, commits, pull requests, etc.

Learn Git Branching is a visual and interactive tutorial. Probably the most intuitive explanation you'll find.

I was in the same place when I started , confused with branches, PRs, everything. I kept watching tutorials, but nothing really clicked until I just started trying things myself and messing up a bit.

Don’t stress too much at the beginning , it slowly makes sense once you practice. You’re on the right track 👍
