Popped to Abberton this morning, noticed a strange duck with the mallards hadn't a clue what it was and being the only one there as it was early morning, thought I'd look it up later! Luckily a lady came along who knew what it was as it was on Facebook that there was one at Abberton. Comes from South America!

Lure you in
White raven
Veiled and dwelling
Let me ask!
Lend me a feather
I will turn it
into white wings ... "

Not sure what happened here as the test I had written seems to have disappeared!
This was a shot taken just after the previous horse one where my equine friend seemed very interested in what I was up to!
I had asked for feedback on which shot people preferred and thanks to those who commented. This shot seemed to be most peoples favourite because the horse is making eye contact with the viewer.

It was great to spend time photographing these magnificent birds on a recent trip to the Hortobágy region of Hungary.
Many thanks to everyone that views and comments on my images - very much appreciated.

Not all our daffodils were knocked over by the heavy winds of recent days: our garden is still awash with yellow ... and white, like this daffodil.
It looks a bit 'double' because there is another one standing right behind and I didn't like to cut it off just for the photo.
